I am 30 years old, born April 30, 1967. I have read The Burning Bush Newsletter, Vol. 6, Issue 1 and I enjoyed it a lot. I would like to correspond with a Christian to help me to keep growing in God's Word and live for Him. I will complete my sentence in December of this year. I have been down going on four years. I love the Lord with all my heart, mind, soul. I enjoy reading about the Lord and learning to understand more about Him.

Rev. James Panozzo 862308
Wabash Valley Correctional Facility
P. O. Box 1111
Carlisle, IN 47838
Rev. James Panozzo writes: I was saved in 1991 while at the prison in Michigan City, IN and I became an ordained minister May 7, 1997. I've been in prison now for 10 years for armed robbery and kidnapping (two counts) and my sentence was for 65 years.
Prison has saved my life! Because since I've been in prison I have been able to take a long look deep inside myself and what I have seen has frightened me! So I prayed the sinners prayer and accepted Christ into my life and slowly over the years I began to change and I became a totally new man!
I knew deep within my heart of hearts that if I did not change I was in for nothing but more heartache and misery. Before I was saved I was constantly tormented inside and never happy. I knew that if I truly wanted to live I couldn't continue to live life my way, I had to live life Christ's way. 2 Corinthians 1:9 says, "Indeed in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead."
