I am also in need of a spiritual revival within myself. All the 4 hours a day drive plus the 10 hour work days 5 days a week and now the wife at her point in her life is taking its toll on me spiritually, physically, and emotionally. I know God has designed this for a reason, this opportunity arose out of nowhere and I have done well here, but it seems that all else concerned with it may be the design of Satan. I hope this makes sense, but I feel God does not want families going through this sort of stuff, however I also know we are tested each and every day as well. It gets confusing at times. I feel farther from God at this point than I ever have been.

As some may know I got terminated from grad school. I am going to appeal, but right now I feel like its all against me. I know God can make it work for me, but it all seems very hopeless right now. I am an emotional person and I wrote my teacher who is also the coordinator of the program many emails telling her my feelings. Now she is going to use those emails against me. Please pray that I can write a good appeal letter and that the dean reinstates me to finish and get my grad degree. I feel like I am sinking in quick sand at this point.

Please pray for Michael, He is going through a child custody battle. She put a restraining Order on Him and Tuesday he goes to court to try to have it removed and get some type of visitation for his daughter until all is resolved. Michael is a Christian but Kelly is not and she has done some pretty
poor things lately so plese pray for her and the little girl's name is Kendall. This little girl Kendall (13 months) has since been beaten and has been admitted to the hospital. The grandmother (Mary) needs prayer also she is heartbroken.

In this area we have serious trouble with an undercover state policeman investigating a local policeman (2) in a serious assault on a 71 yearl old man and his 40 year old son. The town is very upset about it and had a meeting with about 200 in attendance. There is a law suit. There are other serious police problems as well.

Sally Moore is undergoing an MRI of her head this morning (Yesterday). The headaches she experienced at Aldersgate have not diminished. The doctor is not sure they are blood pressure related. So he ordered the test to rule out other problems. Pray for God's peace and comfort during the procedure and a good report from the results.
Update on Jonathan Gentile: Surgery on Jonathan's eye was very successful. The surgeons cleaned out the debris and did a lens implant. They are hopeful Jonathan will have some sight return to his eye. Keep praying for completion of the good work God has begun.

He has been through alot of counseling, and still this addiction has such a strong hold over him. We have been married for 14 years and I have always seen a desire to be set free, but a weakness in letting go. He hides his struggle with low self esteem very well. To meet him or to know him, one would find it hard to tell.

I just talked to Helene Cullen on the phone and she asked me if I would do her a favor and ask you to place a prayer request for her. She is no longer on the web because she can not afford the bill. She wanted me to ask you if you could ask people to pray that her house doesn't go into foreclosure and also that she gets a job and that the Lord will bring peace to her mom so she will not be worried. Her mom is 80 years old and she is afraid that she will end up homeless. She said she will accept whatever the Lords Will is but she is concerned for her mother. I have a prayer request for my brother Jerry. He was in an accident yesterday and had to undergo surgery to insert a rod in his thigh. The thigh bone was shattered above the knee.He needs prayer for healing and
that he does not become addicted to pain medication again. I do not know the whole story but he was driving and a woman hit his vehicle on the driver's side and he could not avoid her. Apparently she was killed from what our Mother told me this morning. Our Mother also needs your prayers as she is 91 yrs old and this is very stressful on her. I think that the woman who was killed that her family needs prayer to get them through this time also.

My daughter and her 2 young boys are trying to rent a home. She wants to start an in-home daycare so she can support herself and the boys. It's a risk for a landowner to rent to her, but we've found a home that will be perfect for what she wants to do. My son, Jeremy, is terminally ill. He's only 17 this year. His blood count is low and it's falling fast with each passing day. Jeremy has not given up hope and he's still fighting to keep alive. But with each minute, the battle gets tougher, the journey more difficult. As a mother, it breaks my heart to see him suffering this way. Jeremy is my only son. Like all youth, Jeremy has dreams but now, these have been rudely dashed. Each moment, as I watch his life ebbing away, a part of me dies.
Without donors, the doctors can do no more for him. So today, he was discharged from hospital to await his fate. And what that is, I know yet I do not have the courage to face. Doctors say Jeremy has only between 3 and 6 months. He needs both Blood and Bone Marrow donors. For Blood donors, if you are between 17 and 45 years of age and you belong to Blood Group B+. For Bone Marrow donors, if you belong to Blood Group AB+.need your help. If you can find in you to help Jeremy, please go to the Haematology Department of the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Block 7, Level 2, Ward 72, and say that you are there for Jeremy. His full name is Ng Ruiming Jeremy. IC No: S8220551I. Jeremy wants to live on and he needs your help. There was some concern during the pregnancy that there might be problems ahead. A couple of days after birth, the child lost 13 oz., which is a lot of weitht to an infant. I would like to request that you continue to pray earnestly for our church, and for my family and I. Our morning service today was terrrrrrible - very few here. Solemn faces. Not much (if any) joy in the hearts of the people. We're in a passage that emphasizes tithing and joy through obedience. Had one of our
goooood men (really!) give a testimony on tithing. It was excellent! The subsequent offering wasn't even
enough to pay my salary . . . . . . I guess I'm going to have to quit and find another church to pastor or get a part time job flippin' hamburgers or something . . . don't know what else to do. . .
I've been offered a secular job designed professional sound reinforcement systems for church by a company in Gulfport, Mississippi. My wife has urged me to consider it - anything to get out of the sink hole we're in now . . . I don't know - I just don't believe that's what God has in mind for me. I did consider leaving the ministry not too long ago, but your prayers and those of others got through and God revealed
to me that quitting wasn't His plan for me. Maybe I'll have to go bi-vocational for a while until things pick up, I'm not sure at this point, but if the offerings don't come up quick, it will have to be in a couple of weeks or so. Heard today our bus guy and his wife are having troubles, perhaps financially - probably
all the way around - I encouraged him to come by and see me this week - I hope he'll do it. Heard
also that he's discouraged because my middle boy asked to work a bus route and he allowed him to, now my son is doing his job, so he's discouraged and they're thinking of leaving. If we lose one more family, there's not much we can do to stay afloat. . .

Praise Report (Patsy Dawson's brother): I'd like to extend a sincere "thank you" to everyone for their prayers and forwarding my original message on to people on their lists. I heard from quite a few people I didn't know with good information such as Web sites to visit for medical information and I was able to call a lady who had the flesh-eating bacteria twice. Talking with her gave us more confidence in the medical treatment my brother was receiving. My mother called this morning. It takes 72 hours to culture the bacteria and find out what antibiotics will kill it and also whether using the hyperbaric oxygen chamber would work. Some bacteria is killed by the rich oxygen, but some thrives on it. They determined that the kind my brother has would love oxygen. They said this morning that Ted has a rather common type of strep and that some of the exotic antibiotics that they started giving him yesterday after the first type wasn't working, were actually what he needed. My brother is already feeling better from the antibiotics doing their job. We still covet your prayers for continued healing and ask God to extend His rich blessings to you. My younger brother, Steve, had been stationed in Goldcoluck, Turkey and is missing. We received a call from his employer, Lockhead Martin, telling us there has been no word from him since the quake. They had 12 employees there but Steve was the only one "in the zone" and all others are accounted for.

A prayer request for a dear friend. Her mother had a stroke and ended up not able to move, talk or eat. She is on a feeding tube and is now having seizures almost weekly. Last week her X (Who has not paid a dime of ordered support in 3 years and lives across the country) filled for soul custody. He has had a drug & alcohol addiction and does not stand a chance, but now she has to hire a lawyer and deal with this on top of her mothers problems. Mom also lives in another state. Add to this sons who instead of helping constantly argue and fight with her, including hitting her once and you've got one stressed out lady! Please pray for peace on these issues in her life and for her to reconcile herself to God! Thank you all!

That the Federal 9th Circuit Appellate Court will rule in favor of Ed DiLoreto in the case of his suit against Downey Unified School District for the schools refusal to post his sign of the Ten Commandments on
an OPEN FORUM on a ballfield sign which the school asked Mr. DiLoreto to buy for $400. He didn't even call his sign the Ten Commandments. He called it "Pause and Think about these Principles to Live By" and then he listed what is commonly known to man as the Ten Commandments. The County Counsel and the State of Calif. Attorney General both said the sign was legal, but the school still refused to post it although they had already posted a sign from an ESP Palm Reader and from the Mason's. Just Aug. 17 the state of CA appeals court ruled against the 10 Commandments. Pray that the Federal Appeal Court will be favorable to the Ten Commandments.

My youngest brother Ted was rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon in Dallas, TX with a very serious infection that started over the weekend. He was running 104 degree temperature and his abdomen was swollen and fiery red. They did exploratory surgery on him and said he had a serious infection that started from the outside and was working its way in. They removed a lot of fatty tissue and were trying to spare the muscle. It is not responding to treatment and they are now worried it might get into his hip bone. The doctor has mentioned the flesh-eating bacteria and said it could even have started from a spider bite or an ingrown hair. My brother is in extreme pain, weak, and worried. Rev. Gerald Schelling - ...in intensive care again this morning. He is bleeding still, internally and they can't find the cause. Mom feels that he is giving up. He has had the opportunity to witness to several nurses, and to all of his immediate children. (there are some that may not be ready to go meet the Lord) I have been trying to remain close to Mom, as she will need the shoulder throughout this difficult time. And we both agree that with out the Lord, we couldn't begin to understand how those that are lost are able to cope. Your prayers are very special and appreciated.

My Daughter Kim has been practicing bulemia for over 15 years and cannot stop. (That is eating lots and either throwing up, or taking 50 to 75 laxatives daily.)She also has problems with her breast. She went in for a biopsy, to check out a lump, about 3 weeks ago and everything was good. But yesterday, she felt very sore and tired. She still has a bump in her breast but, her breast swelled up, to almost double the size of the other one. She called the Doctor,(that did the biopsy) and went in to see him.. They
perscribed stong anti-biotics, because she had an infection going through her body from that breast. It also oozes blood, when squeezed. Friday she will be going back in for tests. She is the mother of 5 girls, ages 2 to 12. And is married. Please pray for Kim to be healed by God, or to find the correct problem and
give the right treatment, to end this problem with her breast. And to pray for Kim to have a change of heart, not to depend on food for her comfort and her master, but to turn to Jesus, as her savior and make (only) Him the Lord and Master of her life and to give her His peace that surpasses all understanding.

Little 2 year old Peyton Boling, has had a heart transplant at Vanderbilt Hospital and is in rejection of the heart. He is now on life support and being given plasma phoresis treatments to reduce the antibodies in his blood. If the treatments do not work this week, he will be taken off life support as he can only survive about 14 days on the machines that he is on. She has to hide everything concerning her faith because if her husband finds out about this---He has threated to take their daughter. She didn't say--But I'm sure what he meant would be out of the country.She said where she secretly attends the childrens church made her daughter a little crown and she was so proud to prance around singing---Yes Jesus loves me. I have a prayer request. A few weeks ago the Lord told me to sell my house> I thought he wanted me to do this in order to cut expenses and to leave my job to go to college full time. I talked to the realitor and put my house on the market. 3 hours later I found out that my full time job, which I have been at for 5 years, was going to be eliminated along with 500 other positions. Of course I was happy that God had prepared me ahead of time for this. I knew in my heart I was to move on and made my decision to before the layoff was announced. The announcement was an obvious confirmation to me that I was on the right path. I just want prayer that God would continue to give us peace and strength and the needed finances to continue until He sends the right buyer for our house. I appreciate your prayers.

Update on Anthony's Mom from Mando Rodarte: Anthony says that the prayers are working because his mom is doing better. She has woken up and is able to move her arms and she is even speaking. He said that she recognizes cause she knew who he was when he went to see her this morning. I think they are now expecting her to make a complete recovery. (Original request: Would everyone please pray for Anthony's mom . . Anthony is a tech over at Kaiser Harbor City and his mom is at Harbor Bay Hospital. Patricia is suicidal and unstable due to drug abuse. She was thinking of killing herself and her two youngest children. She says that the Lord has since come into her heart. She seems full of the joy of the Lord and is constantly talking about Him. However, she is still living in a common law relationship. straight that she is unsaved because her lifestyle is not going according to scripture. In my heart I feel that she is shedding layers of her old lifestyle bit by bit. She lost another 5 pounds this week and is down to 78 pounds and is 5ft 8 in. tall. Last night she lost her balance and hit her head and needed 14 stitches. Please pray for her. Also her husband needs prayers to soften his heart to encourage and do what he can to help her, instead of not talking to her. Dawn is on a emotional roller coaster ride from the seizures, to the cancer, and not having her husbands support.

Well I wanted to write and let you know that my daughter Sue will go to Indianapolis Ind. Med center Tues. but she don't know what they plan on doing after she gets there. We will believe that she will not have cancer that the Lord has already done the healing, pray for her and her husband he is not well either, he had 4 bypasses in Jan and hasn't got over that yet. My husband has cancer and goes back Tues. for his treatment, so I can't go there to be with her , but I believe that we serve a wonderful Savior and he will take care of her and my husband too.

Joshua was born on Jan 26th not breathing, and has suffered much brain trauma, loss of muscle coordination, and is having uncontrollable seizures as a result of it. I am requesting prayer for a very good friend named Jeane and her husband Jimmy. On Thursday of last week (7/29), Jimmy had a tumor removed from his neck that had shown melonoma cells when it had been biopsied about 2 weeks ago. On Friday, the doctor told Jeane & Jimmy that a spot appeared on the pre-op xray taken of Jimmy's lung. Tomorrow, Jimmy is having a CAT scan run to determine if this is a possible malignancy in his lung. Please pray for this special couple. They are committed Christians who have been married for 33 years. They have a wonderful testimony of God's power & grace in their lives as Jimmy underwent brain surgery just 5 years ago to help control seizures that he had suddenly began to experience. His survival from that surgery and the complete restoration of all function and mental abilities after that surgery is miraculous. Please pray for their physical, spiritual & emotional strength during this time, but also that if it be God's will, no other sign! That no sign of cancer will be found in Jimmy's lung or any where else in his body. (8/7) On Tues. of this week Jimmy had a CAT scan run and heard from the doctors that they believe the spot to be "Primary Lung Cancer." Jimmy has never smoked or lived in the house with smokers. The doctors have told him that this is not melonoma. Yesterday Jimmy & Jeane traveled to Emory University for a highly qualified team of doctors to study his tests, xrays, etc. and develope a treatment plan. Please continue to pray for this couple. Cody Turpin (2yrs old) - On Sunday July 25th while my mommy was cutting the grass on a riding lawn mower, I was playing on my battery operated motorcycle, I decided to sneak up on my mommy and go in front of her, My mommy didn't see me and hit my motorcycle with her lawn mower causing me to flip through the air and land with my left arm under the mower, the blade wrapped around my arm, almost severing it. I got to ride in a helicopter to Grady Memorial Trauma Center in Atlanta where the Doctors did 3 surgeries trying to reattach my arm, I am asleep all the time on a ventilator in the pediatric ICU.
Cody may not be able to keep his arm, doctors may have to remove it at the elbow

to thank you all for praying for me considering the reguest for grad school. I believe God is helping me. I decided to talk and listen to Gods leading in my life again. Before I was just trying to do the things of God, but I wasn't waiting for Gods response back to me. I believe God is answering me and giving me hope. I turned to proverbs 6 down until verse 5 especially verses 2 and 3, which were directly for me. Its nice to know God confirmed my situation, as xtians we believe on faith but its neat when God
actually tells us he hears our prayers and knows our situations. Then I talked to the dean of education today and she sounded like a nice person and she gave me hope to pursue this through an appeal. Then today I rented the movie, "Patch Adams." the storyline sort of sounds like mine and my personality and I feel God allowed me to watch this today to give me hope for my grad situation. In the end Patch does get reinstated back into medical school. And my friend who graduated in my department at school now
works in my agency and she is encouraging me and helping me with what to say at my appeal. So I have hope I will get back into grad school. I just hope I can word my appeal right and deliver it with confidence. So thanks for your concern and your prayers.

My daughter, Sara - 12 ½, will be having Spinal Fusion surgery on August 27, first thing. This will correct the scoliosis that she suffers from and will allow her to get out of the scoli jacket that she hates. It is major surgery though and she will be in the hospital for 7 - 10 days.

Please continue to pray for our church (First Baptist Church of Hawthorne, Nevada) to secure a pastor, preferably before I retire on September 29th. The Pulpit Committee has a list of names, but we are in an isolated area where some pastors simply do not wish to come. Please continue to pray for my wife and I as we relocate back to California. We will be taking a $1,000 a month cut in pay, and it will be more difficult for us to get by, but we are trusting in our great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ to see us through. Our daughter Amy called tonight. She is expecting our third grandchild in Sept/Oct? Her Doctor is asking her to rest as much as possible as the amniotic fluid is low (sounds like a mechanical problem almost). Anyhow, being as she has a very active 2 year old son, Ann is headed to Tyler on Tuesday to babysit, cook, wash, etc. and let Amy go to bed for a week or so as the Dr. has advised. We would appreciate your prayers for Ann, Amy, grandson Jack and the expected granddaughter during this next month. The Dr. wants her to carry the pregnancy at least another 4 weeks.

Please pray for my mom she was at the carwash washing the boat from the inside and stepped out of the boat and slipped! She hit her head on the concrete wall and then landed on her back and it instantly broke her wrist. My dad took her to the ER where they spent 6 hours running tests. She is very babdy brusied and her wrist is broken very severely, she went in for surgery and they put in pins and then a cast. She is home now but in alot of pain. The pain medication they give her makes her throw up. They also told her because of her age (65) the bones may not heal well. I'm asking that you stand with me in prayer of Healing and the Pain to stop for my mom.

I have been terminated from grad school. But I can appeal it and I will. I don't know why God allowed me down this road. but I had all my classes finished with A's and B"s and all I needed was to finish my thesis and take the test. I know all things work for good, maybe it's not that I do get reinstated, but God had another good for me. I just feel bad that I worked this hard for 6 years with no degree.

Alex is nine years old and is afflicted with ulcerative colitis. He is in the hospital and has lost so much blood he has needed transfusions. The decision is being made as to whether or not Alex will undergo surgery. This is an urgent case that needs your immediate and fervent prayers.
Please pray for my son Dustin. He has learning disabilities, and is a very personable person, but has no friends. The last time I asked for prayer, the next day he made a new friend, but the friend turned out to be a boy who was trouble. He was sent away and now my son is lonely again, but realizes that the boy was trouble. Please pray for the boy and my son. Also please pray for my daughter. She is beautiful, but developed psorhrisis that is out of control several years ago and just recently develop a problem where she coughs and throws up all the time.

I humbly request you all to uphold a brother in Christ named CHANDER, who has recently converted from a orthodox hindu family, met with an accident and having sever fracture in his right side ribs and having blood clots near the kidneys. His wife NALINI and 3 young childern are in tears as they being ridiculed by their parents for leaving the hindu religion and accepted Christ. His mother directly rebuked him that this accident is a curse from their gods and goddesses because he turned his back to them. The little boy did not have a heartbeat or breathing when paramedics arrived. They were able to bring him back, but he has massive internal injuries and his brain had begun to swell real bad last night August 3. Please pray for him and his whole family and for the man who so recklessly hit them."

For everyone who prayed for my cousin Bernie, he died last night in his sleep. I feel guilt and remorse because I intended to have a friend pray for healing for him and I kept putting it off only because I was afraid of any ridicule my family would give me. That fear of man thing is something isn't it? Embarrassed about God. And I am so guilty of it. I wrote him a letter a few months back with verses I believe God gave me but I never really came out and asked him if he wanted to be saved. I hope and pray he is in heaven now. Please pray for my wife, she was in a bad car accident yesterday. Her and a sister in the lord were rear-ended badly. They didn't find any fractures, but her back, neck, and left shoulder are bad. They had to take her to the hospital in an ambulance. However, I am standing in faith in our Lord Jesus, that she will recover quickly, and that there will not be any permanent problems. I am in adversity with government agencies right now. Social security stated they overpaid me 9 years ago more than $600.00. I went and showed proof this was an error. They began an investigation. I
received a letter yesterday. They now state the money they with held in May, the $653.00. Somehow I cashed that anyway. Along with a sum of $13,000.00 they want repaid. I had a seizure as I am epileptic and stress puts me over.
There are domestic things going on with my ex-husband and I now have malignant high blood pressure. I am under a test and look to God to be the rock who does not forsake me. Please give my petition strength and pray with me for righteous salvation and peace in Jesus.

I have two Nieces whose children are suffering much, and are in danger of dying. Last year you prayed for little Hector who was diagnosed with Leukemia, after 1 1/2 years of treatments, he was doing much better, however, recently, his parents were told the cancer is starting to spread through his little body. Hector is now 5 years old. My Niece Marilyn and her husband Hector are pretty devastated, and so is my sister Migdalia - They do not know the Lord!
I have another niece, her name is Michelle. Three months ago Michelle gave birth to a beautiful little boy named Sean. Sean spent most of his life in the hospital having all types of heart and lung surgeries. He is now home with all sorts of hook-ups.
Michelle and my sister Rosario don't believe God cares about them or little Sean, neither do their husbands. They are too far away for me to visit, please pray for miracles in both those families.

PLEASE pray for Austin, who was born July 8. He weighed 5 lbs 3 oz. when he was born. Austin quit breathing and turned blue. They called 911 and he was life flighted to the Hospital in Cleveland where he was in full arrest when he got there. He is now in a coma and on machines. They are hoping to be able to take him off the machines by Tuesday, and start getting him ready for surgery. He has 2 heart defects which have to be corrected or he definitely will not survive. But they are also concerned about his chances of surviving surgery.
This week started off with a BANG! The devil was at work. Our church is so strong and growing and we have a great preacher, with a great family and our church family couldn't be better. We have a church full of wonderful, loving people that live for the Lord and strive to please him and it is just perfect----I THOUGHT. There is a family in our church that is being led by the devil. They are trying to start vicious lies about other church members, and causing a lot of problems for some wonderful people in our church, some of these being my family, the other, my pastor and his family. In turn, I wanted revenge, I wanted the situation taken before the deacons in our church and this "BAD" family kicked out of our church. It has been hard for me not to take matters into my own hands this past week, but I turned it over to the Lord and asked for his guidance. My intentions today were to go to church and tell everyone that I could about this and who the people were. Last night, as I was trying to decide what Veggie Tale video I was going to use for children's church today, "Are You My Neighbor?" kept standing out. If your
not familiar with it, it is based on Leviticus 19: 18. This morning, I just couldn't bring myself to get ready for church, I really did not want to go and I told my husband that the Devil was working on me, but then I was crying and praying and I finally told him and my son to go on and I would be there as soon as I got ready. Then I sat down and got the video at the right place, and checked the verse in my Bible and I read Leviticus 19: 15-18 and I realized that it wasn't Satan working on me, it was the Lord and through me preparing for Children's Worship, He got His message through to me. I really wanted to be that "talebearer" today, but I am proud to say, that I recognized who was speaking to me and what he was saying and was even able to use my situation this week as an example to my children's church. And I am stronger for this "trial" this week and I will continue to pray for the family that has Satan working on them. I may have been in the valley this week and the climb to the top was rough, but the feeling on top of the mountain was worth it all! PLEASE PRAY FOR SATAN TO BE REBUKED AND BOUND

I would like to ask everyone to include my daughter and her newborn son in your prayers. Nathanial was born 10 weeks early and weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces..Now we found out the little guy has 2 holes in his heart. He seems to be doing well at the moment ..although they have started him on medication because of the "dips" in his heart rate. My daughter and husband had tried for almost 8 years before God blessed them with their son. They named him Nathanial because it means "God's Gift". Please ask eveyone to include them in their prayers and Thank you Sherri252
A dear friend of mine, Les Fambrough, has lung cancer. He has to have radiation everyday for 6 weeks and one day each week he'll have chemo and radiation. Please pray for healing for him. And for strength for his wife. I thank you so much. Txfranni@aol.com
Thanks to all of you who prayed for my husband. He fell 12' to his feet on concrete in March. He had surgery 3 days later. he is doing much better. He is in physical therapy 3 times per week. We hope he can go back to work the end of August. He still cannot get a shoe on and he has had problems with the incision coming open in a couple of spots and draining. sometimes it looks as though it will come open again and drain. His sick leave will be up at the end of this month. If he doesn't get back to work he could lose his job.
Also my son has a herniated disk in his lower spine. he has not been able to work since January.
Please pray for me. I need God's direction in my life. I want to be the best Christian I can be.

Danny/ a six year child. He has fought with cancer all of his life. Today, he is once again losing the battle, there are medical choices to be made in terms of treatment nothing circumvents the great
physician.
Please pray for my wife, she was in a bad car accident yesterday. Her and a sister in the lord were rear-ended badly. They didn't find any fractures, but her back, neck, and left shoulder are bad. They had to take her to the hospital in an ambulance. However, I am standing in faith in our Lord Jesus, that she will recover quickly, and that there will not be any permanent problems. Please stand in faith with me on that, and please also pray for the driver in the car she was in, that she too heals quickly. I must fully rely on God....please pray that I keep my focus on Jesus, and for peace in my heart and mind!

My husband is Stephen. We've been married for 2 1/2 years and it has been a battle the whole time. he was gone for 10 months-working. when he came back, it was great. today in church, i received the breaking of bondages of sadness and now tonight, the battle is raging again. it makes me weary and joyless. i want my joy back and carefree attitude. yet, haven't since married. i know the plans the Lord
has for us in ministry, and the enemy continues to come after us, so that we will not make it to minister to the youth we will be sent to in the future.

Her husband is quite upset. Primarily pray for her husband, and the family that they have peace in this

I am requesting prayer for my Mother-in-law and myself. My Mother-in-law suffers with Alzheimer's, she was admitted to the hospital Saturday night with a urinary tract infection and internal bleeding. The
Doctors are running test to determine where the bleeding is coming from. This is the first time in my 31 years of marriage to her son that I have known her to be this sick/in the hospital. For me I am Diabetic, along with so many other medical problems. Right now I am having a problem with my stomach and my chest wall. My Doctor thinks I might have Diabetic Gastroparesis which is causing the stomach
problem but they are not quiet sure why there so much pain in my chest wall because I could have bruised it, have muscle strains or inflammation of the rib cartilage. I do know that this pain can make you think you are having a heart attack. I have asked the Lord to help me through all of this but sometimes when this pain hits me I forget he will not put no more on us than we can bear. So I ask for pray to give me the strength to bear it all. God is a good God, we must all believe that in our time of despair.

Update you on Johnny's CORONARY HEART DISEASE. Thank you for all your prayers for him. On Friday, July 23rd, my husband had another HEART CATHERIZATION to determine the cause of the continuing chest pains he was having after he had his Angioplasty and Stent implants on July 2nd. The 3 Stents are all looking good and keeping those arteries open. But the Cardiologist found 2 more bad Arteries, at the lower part of his heart, which are causing the pains now. His heart is so badly "diseased" that the surgeons say IF they try to open these 2 arteries, it could rupture them OR he could have another heart attack during surgery. So there is NOTHING they can do for him now, except WAIT. IF his pains get worse, after taking Nitro pills, then they will have to go in and try something, we don't know what. The doctor said the chances are very HIGH that Johnny WILL HAVE ANOTHER HEART ATTACK at any time because of the condition of his heart. He did come home from Anderson Hosp. late Friday afternoon, but the dr. told him to lie down and not sit up very much, to keep the incision in his groin area from bleeding. He had a rough 2 days & is not feeling well after all he has been through this month! He has a doctor's appointment this Thurs., July 29 for a checkup. At this point the doctors will not even talk about him going back to work. They said "Coronary Heart Disease" gets progressively worse, not better. His lifestyle has to change and He will be under a Cardiologist care and on medication the rest of his Life....however long GOD chooses to leave him with us. We are treasuring every moment we have with each other...none of us have the Promise of Tomorrow....so we need to use the time God gives us together, wisely.
I am trying so hard to keep encouraging my husband. Our family needs your prayers very much.....Our FAITH IN GOD is strong and we always pray for HIS WILL to be done, not our will. Continue to PRAY FOR OUR FINANCIAL NEEDS also, as we don't know what we are going to be able to do, if he cannot return to work.. We KNOW God will take care of us through it all.
MY BACK SURGERY WILL BE ON FRIDAY, AUG. 27th. This is the first available time they can schedule it. I got really depressed today because I have to wait so long to have it done. The pain is getting worse everyday but my surgeon has prescribed a new, stronger pain pill for me today. Maybe it will help me through the next 4 wks. I go for tests on the 23rd & I will be admitted to the hospital on the 26th, then surgery on the 27th. I'm don't know for sure how long I will stay in the hospital. After my surgery, I have to be very cautious for several weeks. I really dread it because of Johnny's situation but this does give him 4 weeks for him to recuperate. God will give us STRENGTH & FAITH for whatever is ahead of us. I am afraid to leave him alone, afraid he will have another heart attack. I am so than

About a year ago I sent you a prayer request for a little boy named Cody who is in the foster care of a couple at my church.He had his skull fractured by either his mother or her mothers boyfriend and when the folks at my church got him he had a broken arm. He was 5 months old at the time of the broken
arm, 3 months old when his skull was fractured. Things had been looking very good for him to be adopted by a family in our church and Cody's mother hadnt done a thing to better her life, so it looked
as if she was going to finally give up custody of him.
Well, all of a sudden shes working at Buger King and wants to have Cody back.They arent 100 % sure if she is still with this abusive boyfriend or not. And all she has to do is live up to the courts all too low standards and she could have Cody back in October.I do not believe that the Lord wants Cody
to be in this situation with his mother. For after I was told this disturbing news about him on sunday the sermon was about the Power of Prayer.And how we shouldnt try to take control in situations (where things are really out of our control anyways) and then go to God for help. We should go to God
first.Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have and it should be the first weapon we choose to use. But so often its the opposite.And before I went into the sanctuary I had a good cry in the ladies room and thought of all the powerful people I could write letters to to tell them how much their apathy
disgusts me and that I think this situation is an outrage.The sermon just really spoke to me.I really think that God was speaking to me about the situation with Cody and that He wants me to keep praying and request the prayers of others for Cody. So, please pray for him, his mother and the people in charge of his situation.Pray that God will take control! Thank you so much for your prayers!
