I have been asking for prayer for my sister (Beverly Baker). Today Bev. had her lung surgery and everything is ok. When she was a child she had pneumonia which left scar tissue on her lungs and this is what the doctor saw on the x-ray and lead up to the surgery. Thank you all for praying with me. My worst fear for my granddaughter has happened. When her father picked her up for visitation this weekend and brought her to our house, it was confirmed. When preparing to give her a bath that very same evening, she had a bandage on her back right shoulder. When I questioned her about it, she cowered down telling me she can't tell me or grandpa what happened. I calmly proceeded with the questioning, took the bandage off and there was abrasions, bruising, and several scratched red marks. This 4 yr. old tells me that her mom hit me with a stick when we were walking because she said I was being mean to her. I spent all of Friday night till 4AM in the NYS Police station... Please pray for Jennifer. She has been a heroin addict for 2-3 years. She once was a Christian. Her mother is a Christian and asked us all to pray. She is currently in a rehabilitation program, and is on one week with no drugs. This is the longest she has been clean since starting the drug. My whole family are born again, I have 4 kids 17.16.14. 12. My husband Mike because disabled about 3 years with an unknown condition. Mike was a nurse and now he in a wheelchair, his mind gets confused ( I have to give him 24 hour care). We are living on his social security. My prayer request is two part, one for wisdom to feed and clothe this family. Our van is breaking down and we are a need of a new one but have no means to even think of buying one. My husband and children have become very depressed because of our situation. My whole family health is beginning to have weird symptoms but the doctors can't figure out and the family is becoming increasing upset as they aren't getting better but worse. Berna has been told by her specialist that if she doesn't have chemo she will only have two months to live so praise the Lord she has now had her first dose of chemo and it has taken away her pain so this is encouraging her....if we could now pray that the Lord would cause her love for Him to increase and that she would open her spirit up to Him more and more each day....she needs to be right with God and with man and He has to has the freedom to move in her.... our Lord won't move unless we give Him permission so this is why we need Berna to open her heart up to Him and confess her sins I feel this is what is preventing her from coming to Him may the Lord show her the value of His precious blood.......thanks for all your prayers this is where all the work is done. I have been having trouble with my eye sight for about two years now. I found out a year ago that I had glaucoma and for those of you that don't know what glaucoma is it is a blinding disease. About a month ago I went and saw my eye doctor and he informed me that glasses would not help my eye sight. So just a few weeks ago I went to change my license and I hardly passed the eye exam. With a heavy heart, I am sending this prayer request for Pastor JD Morris, Denver NC. Pastor Morris had to be admitted back into the hospital in Gastonia NC, this week. Church in Denver NC last week, he was totally drained of his strength & with his blood counts so low, he now has developed PNEUMONIA. Please keep me in your prayers. Tuesday I have to have an arteriogram performed. My right leg has been numb for over three weeks now and an MRI came back fine. My doctor is looking for a partial blockage of the artery in my leg. The medication they will use to highlight the artery for x-rays could easily cause my kidney to shut down. Please keep praying for my sister. They had said Monday for sure that she had a miscarriage. But she got a surprise call today (Wedensday) that said "we think your baby is going to be okay" What wonderful news. God is so wonderful and has been listening to us. But if the baby is still not old enough, they said they may not be able to find out for sure then either. Please pray. Just a quick update and praise report concerning Berna's situation the Lord is interceding because of the prayers going up for her....she did not go for her last appointment with her specialist this one was to arrange her treatment for chemo.....now the specialist has contacted her and wants to meet with her tomorrow and she has agreed to this meeting so the Lord has move in her because she had said she wasn't going back to the specialist...so if you could just continue with your prayers and pray the specialist will inform thoroughly on all the consequences of not having chemo and if the Lord wants her to have chemo that He give her the sense that she has to have it and also to subdue her strong will and natural disposition so He can be released from her spirit....it says in the word that we need to be specific when we make our petitions this is why I am sharing with you these details so that all our prayers will be one through the fellowship the burden will come in how to pray for Berna i believe. A crazed, mentally sick man has held three people (man, women and 12 year old boy) hostage in their home, as well as the entire community because these people are not able to leave or return to their homes. This man has a criminal record, went on a shooting spree two weeks ago killing innocent people and maiming a 2 year old child. Hundreds of county, state police including the FBI are involved. Just a note to update you on the situation with my wife, to thank you for your prayers, and to ask you all to continue to pray for us and our church. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderfully the e-mail's, calls, cards, and letters that have come in to Shirley have helped her. They showed her that there really ARE Christians out there, that they actually love others with agape' love. Most of all, the countless prayers for her have been extremely effective - she has gone from having no desire to live through another day to allowing the Lord to pick up the pieces and moving forward with life for Him. The transformation is not yet complete, but, speaking as her husband, so far, it has been nothing short of miraculous. Shirley's still quite hurt by the the fact that this staff member's wife has not yet forgiven her, much less acknowledged that she has apologized for losing her temper at her that evening when she was attacked. You have to understand that my wife NEVER loses her temper at anyone, and so this event, which was started by the disloyalty of this staff member to his pastor and brought to a head by his wife, was a real blow for her. The wife seems to be the big problem. She shuns Shirley at church and leaves immediately following services in order to keep from interacting with us. My goal for the staff member and his wife is restoration (Galatians 6), but it's hard when the woman won't even acknowledge our appeals for reconciliation. Someone I know who was falsely accused of molesting a child took a plea bargain last year in fear of being found guilty by a jury panel who leaned toward that end. In the last year he has done as he was required for his probation which included weekly therapy class along with many other requirements. Recently, his therapist kicked him out of the class saying he was in denial. And this seemed to follow a polygraph test. (The thing is he never did what he was accused of doing.) Yesterday he was arrested with no bail. He may spend an indefinite amount of time in jail or the judge may just throw him in prison. This has been very hard on our family knowing full well the motives for the child's accusations. Yet, there was no depth of investigation as should have taken place, and he was automatically determined guilty. In fact, there was just not enough money to make sure there was more done to determine the validity of the accusations. It was just taken by the word of a manipulative child who is well known for lying to get her way, and who in fact experienced sexual abuse all those years before ever being in the company of this man. She knew what to say because it had happened to her many times before--I know because she told me about the things that happened to her--way before she ever met this man. It is to the point now that God is all there is. No amount of money, except maybe a million bucks and a smooth attorney, could get this man free of this charge. I know God has the bigger picture here and there is more going on here than we know, and I still trust God to do what is best. But this is so hard for everyone involved. SherralB@amaonline.com

There is a young boy named Dustin from Fairmont, NC. His mother is a very close friend of mine. Dustin has been to the Doctor for swollen lymph nodes in several areas of his body. He was given antibiotics to see if it was a viral infection. Well, they didn't work and the lymph nodes have enlarged more. This Friday he will undergo outpatient surgery to remove the nodes and biopsy's will be done. The Doctor has explained that this problem didn't respond to the antibiotics therefore it could be something very serious. Please remember Dustin in your prayers. He is a very active 12 year old and has never been sick. His mother is just about to receive her RN degree. Jerry Lennon shares update about Walter House:
God is good and greatly to be praised ! For the time being the doctors say Walter's legs are responding and there are no current plans to amputate. The "good leg" (the one they originally though they might be able to save) has 12 breaks in the bones between the knee and the ankle. Walter is sedated pretty much all the time. There are some surgical procedure(s) virtually every day. He has experienced an infection which the doctors were very concerned about. They went inside the abdominal cavity today and discovered it was a fungus growing around one of the tubes - not pretty but much less threatening than a systemic bacterial infection. He has pneumonia in both lungs. They "opened" him up to do some "cleaning and maintenance work" thinking they would have to leave him "open" for followup but they were pleased enough with what they saw to "close." They also did a tracheotomy today to enable them to remove the tubes from the throat and give him a little more comfort. He remains in grave condition and there is a long road ahead. The extended family is naturally experiencing the adjustment with new responsibilities for various ones together with the emotional battle of trying to cope with "normal" life when life for them remains far from normal. Your continued prayers for the financial, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the family is coveted. Frankly, I am not familiar with the spiritual situation of Walter or his family. But I do know that his need for prayer and direct intervention from God are surely as great as mine is. I am convinced that in some way God will be glorified through this ordeal ... as with all the "planting, watering and sowing" we may never know the true impact until we see Him face to face. My eight year old son Chase has been having some headaches over the last 2-3 weeks. We've been to his doctor, and we've been treating them as if they were migraines. However, we decided it would be wise to schedule an MRI. Last night at Baptist Hospital they discovered a tumor in his brain. We are scheduled to go to Children's Hospital this morning at 9:00am for more tests and to meet with a neurosurgeon. Please put out an URGENT prayer request for my best friends son Dylan Anderson he is only 4yo and he came down with a high fever on Friday night and was admitted to the hospital in Boca Raton Fla. for tests his blood platelets are only 5 thousand and if they don't improve by tomorrow he will have to have a very painful bone marrow test to make sure he does not have leukemia. EMERGENCY PRAYER REQUEST PLEASE READ, PRAY, THEN FORWARD. Prayers are needed for Braedon Hembree and his family. Braedon is just a 20- month-old baby boy in Clinton, South Carolina. A few weeks ago his parents took him to Laurens County Hospital with double pneumonia (both lungs). The next night he was transferred to Greenville Memorial Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. He is in a "coma-like" state and on a respirator battling viral pneumonia. Braedon is only 20 months old and very weak. He is recognizing voices, as his heart rate goes up when they sing/talk to him, it especially got stronger when his big sister, Krista, talked with him. The doctor says this is good and this makes him think that Braedon's brain is doing fine. However, the doctors are perplexed by the type of viral pneumonia he is fighting. There is a hole in his lung that may require surgery. Braedon, has recently taken a turn for the worse. His blood pressure is extremely high, leading the doctors to think he is having seizures or strokes. He now has 18 chest tubes and lots of scar tissue building in his lungs. The right lung has no healthy tissue at all but at this point he would not survive a lung transplant. He is still on life support and may be on it for a long time.

I told her I loved her and she whispered with her lips "I love you too". Jerry Lennon shares update about Walter House:
Things are progressing better than anticipated with Walter (not necessarily surprising to all of you who are praying). They worked on the "bad" leg yesterday (the one they were sure would have to be amputated). They did some "restorative" work which I won't describe in detail for those of you who intend to eat sometime in the next 24 hours. The good news to that is, not only are they working on the "bad" leg but they are also working on it in a much earlier timeframe than anyone anticipated - even if they thought they could save it. To date Walter has received 56 pints of blood. He has a drain in the lung that was punctured and the bleeding there has lessened. For those to whom this is forwarded: Walter is a 34 year old, married with two boys (2 & 7), who received extremely serious and life threatening injuries in an industrial accident. In the best case scenario, the doctors say he will be in the hospital for a year - 2 months in "grave" condition. Thanks for all your prayers for me, Johnny & Pastor Morris also. I went back to the doctor on Wed. for him to check the bloodclot in my leg... After examing it, he said the clot IS dissolving slowly and it is still there, but smaller. I have to keep taking the aspirin each day... Johnny has really been a "life-saver" in taking care of me. He has not felt good for several days & having some chest pains also but I know he worries about me. Please continue to pray for Pastor & Sonya Morris.... This week is his 28th anniversary as Pastor of Beth Haven Bapt. Church in Denver, NC. Pray for his physical condition & that God will be glorified through all that he and Sonya have been through since he was diagnosed with Leukemia. Pray that his blood counts will go UP & that God will heal & strengthen him. The doctors say he is still in Remission but his blood counts just won't go up & this has caused him to hve a low immune system.

Walter was to have one leg amputated yesterday. They did surgery to remove dead tissue and determined not to amputate for now. He was to be operated on today to transplant muscles and tissue from his arms to the leg(s). There continues to be very serious risks of infection which could result in the loss of both legs or worse! Please continue to pray for Walter's physical and emotional health, wisdom for the doctors and for the entire family. The seriousness of his condition, and the day to day nature of his status, coupled with the family's regular presence at the hospital, is understandably causing stress and tension. Please pray for peace of mind and God's tranquility in the midst of emotional turmoil. Last, but certainly not least, pray for spiritual awareness and sensitivity for the family and those who are reaching out to help. He has to be there fairly early.....but the surgery is not until 10 am. This is making my Dad aprehensive....since he has never had anything wrong before. My secretary's brother in law (Walter) was very seriously injured in an industrial accident yesterday. He is in grave condition at Westchester with a punctured lung, possibly torn bowel and/or split pancreas. He is young and the doctor says the next 24 hours will determine what's going to happen. At the very least, one leg is likely to be amputated and the second is at risk. I know nothing of his spiritual condition but know that my secretary has been exposed to the Gospel - her sons have attended a church nursery/pre-school in western Orange County which appears to be evangelically based. I have been in bed for 1 week (since last Friday) (written Feb. 25) with a BLOODCLOT in my right leg, behind my knee. I went to the dr. last week and he verified what Johnny & I thought it was that was hurting me so bad. I can hardly walk and my right leg is real sore. He put me on complete bed rest, with heating pad on my leg & an aspirin a day to help dissolve the clot. I went back to the dr. today and he could still feel the blood clot. He said I am as well off at home with Johnny, as in the hospital and a LOT cheaper!!! I just have to stay off my feet except to go to the bathroom. It hurts really bad and the dr. said we will just PRAY that the bloodclot does NOT move....IF I feel a burning pain in my chest, I will know the clot went to my lung and we have to call 911 immediately and get to the hospital.... Bonita Wrather (From my sister, Reta: RobertReta@aol.com): Mother is going to see a surgeon in OKC once (Dr.) Swami gets it set up. It is for a brain implant, possibly. She is beginning to halucinate again. That is from the sinement but she can't function without it so I don't know what other options that they have. I know Swami tried another medication in addition to the sinement and it didn't work with her.

Dr James Dobson announced on February 15, 00 a plea for an national day of Prayer and Fasting on March 6, 00, due to California Proposition 22 at the voting polls on March 7, 00. This is important to the citizens of all 50 states. Prop 22 states that the State of California would only recognize marriage between a Man and a Women if the yes vote wins. If the no vote wins this would fuel same sex partners to generate 20,000,000 for the right to marry on a bill in the September elections.

Please pray for Belinda and family. Her youngest son (age 17) accidentally shot and killed himself. She is a baby Christian, so please pray for strength and faith through this terrible tragedy. Several of her other sons are having trouble making it home to be with her. Pray that God would comfort her and use this situation. It is a dysfunctional family with many years of drug abuse, jail time, etc. She's just starting to get her act together. I believe one son is in jail; I don't know whether or not they'll let him out to attend the funeral.

An unexplained turn of events happened late last week and brothers R, D, A, and A (all Filipino believers who serve the Lord) received the news from the Saudi police through official channels. He was born with a small lung and some other complications. Steve Strauss shares: Today I saw Steve Pauff for the first time in a while. He's actually the reason I came down here to visit. He claims he has no desire left and has accepted the fact that he's on his way to hell. He's totally given over to extreme sin and says he wants to die. He doesn't argue or doubt that Jesus is the Truth and the Way, but feels he is beyond forgiveness and deserves hell and doesn't care that he's going there because that's where he belongs. I am a 57 year old divorcee for the last 15 years. At this time I do not have a job. I have come across a perfect opportunity. I would like to put up a website and I need the money to do it. I have a complete program set out for this business. I want to take this business and make a income for myself and also hire people in the same position that I am in and help them. To many people my age are unable to get jobs. People at my age need to create a job for ourselves and that is what I am trying to do. I have been out looking and nothing has come up and the Lord has led me in this direction and showed me some things. I was also told by my doctor I will be in a wheel chair in 3 years. I am not accepting this in my life at all and I don't want to go on Welfare or Social Securtiy Disability. I do realize that I have to work from home. A former member of our church here in Korea, Ray Lutz, is now stationed in Saudi Arabia and has been conducting underground Bible Studies. They have also been fellowshipping with a group of Filipino brothers and sisters in Christ. A couple of weeks ago, a group of them were arrested and all their Bibles and Christian literature was confiscated and destroyed. Consequently they released all of the Christians except one brother. This brother is now scheduled to be beheaded in the next couple of weeks. This will be a public execution. It happens frequently, I guess in Saudi Arabia. He (Clyde) was driving his rig when someone pulled out in front of him. he sustained serious injuries as he was thrown from his truck into the woods. Clyde suffered collapsed lungs, an amputated left leg, and his pelvic bone was crushed. they do not know however at this point if he will make it. I tearfully and painfully write to all of you, my dear friends, that the Judge, who himself has had this mother on supervised visits for more than a year now with no exceptions whatsoever.....just received his letter of decision by mail today and my granddaughter has been given SOLE custody to her mother....return immediately to her and we get NO visitation as the judge stated it is up to the mother's discretion and he feels she will do what is in the best interest of her child. Our son was also denied custody on his petition however does get visitation. The judge cited that he feels my husband and I were too controlling and it was made crystal clear to him by our own testimony. Although she has been neglected and the circumstances for the mother have improved from what they were in the past, she now has another new baby and he feels that she has changed enough to be responsible. I can't for the life of me figure how having another baby with a boyfriend makes it all better. My word to all you grandparents raising your grandchild is Be Careful In all you do....the law protects parents rights no matter what..the children just do not have any rights!!!! PLEASE KEEP MY GRANDDAUGHTER LIFTED IN PRAYER..SHE IS GONNA NEED THEM FOR SURE. She just did not understand she is not coming back to the only home she has ever really known. We have another prayer request for our daughter Kathy. As you may know, she developed Lyme's Disease around 14 years ago and it was undetected for at least nine years. It is doing its dirty work and has compromised her health drastically. Once more it is continuing to attack her joints and now her right leg and knee cap were injured as she got out of a chair. Kathy will be in a temporary brace for two weeks and then she will be given a brace that she is expected to wear for the rest of her life. We don't know what type of surgery will be required or how soon it must take place. Please pray for the Lord to show Himself, once again, mighty on her behalf, not just in the physical area, but also in her employment. Kathy can easily do her job while in a brace, please pray that her employer will see that, too. We are praying for the Lord's glory and Kathy's comfort and healing in all of this. I am really fighting two major health issues, with underlining issues that don't seem as important.....but I have cancer and some nasty complications right now, including a infection that just won't go away....interferring with my on going treatments. Second, I had broken my neck years ago, and have had 3 major surgeries, and months in re-hab, and physical therapy......A bone fragment has now broken away, and is pressing on 2 nerves, and I am losing the use of my left arm and hand ( I already battle with an on going problem with my right arm and dexterity of the hand), I am really in alot of pain......and surgery seems to be the answer.....but with no "good" outcome. My son who just turned 5 is having a few health difficulties. Last year, he had a bilateral hernia operation, hydracele and his circumcision redone. That was mighty stressfull, but he's fine. This year, is looking worse than last year. A day before his birthday he, he got the chicken pox.(I recommend the vaccine, he had a mild case!) Thank the Lord. Then Saturday, he got the flu that's going around. If it's a symptom, he's got it. Now he doesn't want to eat. He's lost 11/2, 2lbs, since the Friday before last. He's literally some muscle, skin and bones. Pray he starts eating. Next week, he is going to 2 different specialists. Now, the abdominal hernia he was born with was respotted and has to get checked out w/ possible surgery. His hearing is going downhill so he has to get his ears checked out, also, possibly tubes put in and tonsils taken out.Plus, Dr wants me to get him evaluated by a psychiatrist. Luvmyspud1@aol.com

After all my family has been through, I have come down with a fairly serious bout of depression. Two years ago I was diagnosed as being bi-polar, or manic depressive. I have had some major depressions, resulting in three hospitalizations, many minor ones lasting only a day or two, and a few like this, where I am unable to fulfill my ministry for a time, but do not require hospitalization. They, my doctors, continue to change medications, and try new ones, add this and take away that. It is all a matter of finding the right meds for my system. Pray that God will give me back my ministry in the near future. The men I work with, 410 veterans, miss me, and have shown me such love and kindness. I can't wait to get back. Hopefully only another week or so. Please pray for my healing in this area. SAChapDJM1@aol.com

Sue shares update about church in Dolores, Colorado:
In answer to everyone's prayers our church enjoyed such a wonderful service last Sunday (week ago). After so many had told me they would not be there we had 42 in worship services. Also on Wednesday evening we had 13. Please continue to pray for us. Our Interim Pastor Jimmie Burton has had to go to Texas to be with his sister-in-law who is dying of cancer and Pastor Jimmie and Mary's daughter Nancy (also in Texas) is also dying of cancer. Neither are expected to live another month. His wife Mary is also in poor health and this trip is going to be especially hard on her. This family really needs our prayers. suebie@fone.net

I have just finished talking with my (foster) daughter Chrissy and have learned some disturbing things which burdens my heart for her and her family. Her husband is currently on a work related assignment in Ireland for two months. Chrissy has been having a series of physical problems involving pain in her joints, feet and hands, skin manifestations, bad headaches, depression, extreme fatigue and insomnia. Her physician is at a loss to make a diagnosis and wants a rheumatologist to see her, but could not get an appointment until sometime in mid April! She now has all the responsibility of their four youngsters, household bills, etc., because her husband is away for these two months. She told me today that she feels completely overwhelmed by everything that has happened and is happening, between the pain and the loneliness and responsibility. ELTomasina@aol.com

My daughter Laurie called me yesterday to tell me that she will be hospitalized this Monday overnight for an urological procedure to determine what is causing the discomfort and pain in her kidney area. Baehr said that Jane's new faith was a factor in the couple's recent separation after 8 years of marriage. He said that Mr. Turner has complained that several of his closest friends and associates have also accepted Christ. Baehr related that several years ago, Turner told Woodstock Baptist Church in an apology for some anti-Christian comments, that, in his youth, he had accepted Jesus Christ at a Billy Graham Crusade, but then rejected Jesus when his sister died and his father committed suicide. "We need to pray for Ted and Jane and for their marriage," Baehr concluded. Jane's repentance and acceptance of Christ is a result of her gospel-witnessing chaueffer giving testimony and counseling her at any time he had available. We need to pray for her support as a new Christian, for Tedd as a prodigal, and for a reconciled marriage for them.

I am currently a senior in high school and I am planning on going to college. I know where God wants me but I need prayer for money so I will be able to afford it. My dad was self-employed but then his business collapsed so for a few years his income was very low ($20,000 for a family of 7). Now he has a well paying job at rain bird. Because of that, I am not going to get very much federal or state funding for my college education. But my parents are in debt and they don't have the money to pay for my college education. Please pray that God provides. Thank-you!

I wanted to let you know about my mother in law Janie. This morning the doctors took her off the ventilator and she passed away. I feel it in my heart that it was premature and that the doc's gave up. I want to thank you for all your love, prayers and support. I can't tell you how much the letters you wrote meant to her. #1. My friend's grandson JL has been having difficulty coming out of adolecense. He's been in trouble an awful lot and almost went to jail, many more problems. Currently he's on his own but seems to be having difficulty adjusting. Please pray for him and for his salvation. That he will stay out of trouble and find a place in this world for himself. We are really concerned he will get in trouble again. Thank you.
#2. Pray for Coralyn who had complications from a surgery and now a mini stroke. Pray for her complete healing.
#3. Pray for Jimmy who has brain cancer. He is a miracle because he was supposed to be very ill after his first surgery and the Lord allowed him to come out of it with no complications. He is receiving chemotherapy. Please pray for his complete healing as he as has a family.
#4. PRAISE-->BG was prayed for over the net for healing when she came down with menengitis and died twice. The Lord brought her out of it. But today she still very much needs salvation and a relationship w/ Jesus Christ. Please pray for this.
#5. Please pray for me I have moved into a new home with two friends. It is not a very good situation. There is MUCH MUCH MUCH FRICTION here. I can hardly stand it and am falling apart emotionally and so are my friends. I know the Lord sent me here (I lived in a home with a very abusive father and had prayed for another place to go and I have a spinal cord injury-my moving here was nothing short of a miracle in my condition) and I need to be a blessing to these dear people not a bother and I am battling a temper problem because of all the years I lived with abuse (about 38) Thank you for you kind consideration for all of these things.. Dearest brothers and sisters in Christ, I received a call from my sister in Big Stone Gap, Va., this morning, requesting urgent prayer for a young girl by the name of Aubry Back, she is from my hometown of Big Stone, and has been diagnosed with cancer. This young lady is only 17 years old, and as of today is at the University of Virginia hospital, in Charlottesville. The doctors have told her that there is nothing that can be done, and they are sending her home to die, giving her and her family no hope.

I need prayer for depression and anxiety. I have been under a lot of stress all my life ( alcoholic parents who died (father committed suicide) , teenage rebellion, grandson born without arms etc.) and it has caused a lot of the depression along with other reasons. I was in the hosptial 17 years ago for depression and had to have shock treatments. I got off the antidepressants after 17 years and thought I would be better. I have asked God to heal me without antidepressants and I am not getting better and I'm afraid I will have to go back on something. I'm afraid of new med becaue of side affects. I am not doing good enough to keep trying to make it without med. I have done everything, bible reading, prayer, rebuke satan, praise tapes, counseling (which I am doing again now) I even tried an anti anxiety med and it didn't work. Now my only thing left is to go on antidepressants and some Christian don't think I should..I don't want to, believe me unless God performs a miracle, but I know life is real and it isn't happening at this time..it is God's timing I am told. My mom died 2 months ago and I am currently in the process of moving back home to be with my dad. I live with a man who has emotional problems and is verbally abusive to me. After I move back home he will be living with his uncle. Please pray that I move into my dads swiftly (hopefully by the end of February). Also, being that my mom was an invalid since I was 3 my father neglected getting heart surgery so he could take care of her. I am so frightened that I will lose him also. He is in denial over this. Please pray that he sees his doctor and makes arrangements for surgery and for his complete healing. I am also 100+ pounds overweight and it is affecting my health terribly. Please pray that I have the strength and willpower to stick to a diet and stop smoking. I have never done this before and I am sorry if this is so long. I am very depressed now since losing my mom since we were extremely close and I know that only the Lord can bring me out of this and heal me emotionally and physically and heal my dad. I have just received news that Joe and Linda Knight, the dynamic pastors of The Rock Church of Monroe, Washington were on that flight. My husband has been healed more than once and still needs a big healing on the pinched nerve he has and his heart as only 1/2 of it is working, preventing any surgeries to correct the pinched nerve. God does work in a lot of different ways, so never limit His work. May God's blessings be upon you always and in all ways. Back in the last part of October I wrote to you because I was desperately concerned about my son. When I wrote I asked you to pray and was really at my wits end. Things have moved so fast since then it has been nothing less than amazing. On November 3rd my son was in an car accident that changed the whole course of his life. Within a week of the accident he rededicated his life to the Lord and began a discipleship program with our youth pastor. It was such a joy to have my son back. He confessed that he had gotten mixed up with the wrong crowd and had been unable to say no. Once the confession was made and he asked the Lord's forgiveness and our forgiveness, there was such relief and peace. Before, he had always been such a joy to be around but his personality had become dark and angry. What an experience it was to see the joy of his salvation come back to him. Soon after, he began praying and seeking the Lord's will for his life and I have to tell you that today, he is a student at Pensacola Christian College. It was his decision to change his whole environment and while he knows he has struggles ahead he wanted to be in a Godly Christian environment with other like believing young people. His goal in life has always been to be a history teacher and a coach. This is his major and he hopes to be able to help other young men not to make the same mistakes he made. Anyway, I wanted to update you and give you a praise report on how God answered our prayers. Thank you so much for your ministry Pastor Wrather. It has meant so much to me as I daily read your devotional. I apologize for not having written sooner. The only thing I can say is when things started happening on November 3rd it has been non-stop ever since. They have only recently slowed down. Thank you again.
